Legacy of Legends CDC is pleased to announce Tiara Caswell as our new Executive Director. She will be replacing Charlie Caswell Jr, who has stepped down as E.D after 4 years of commitment and execution of Legacy’s mission to now serve as Board Chairman of the organization. We are grateful for his ambition and vision that has brought us thus far.
Effectively November 1, 2022, Tiara Caswell will officially be the Executive Director of Legacy of Legends CDC, providing sufficient time to complete an orderly handover.
Tiara Caswell is a highly experienced, dedicated, well-regarded leader and servant of her community. She has been the Project Manager, visionary and executing staff of the newly developing Legacy Impact Community Resource Center located at 2285 Frayser Blvd, Memphis TN 38127 for over the last year. Tiara has been intentional about hosting events that allow youth & families to connect with resources & other community organizations. She is currently developing the Youth in Entrepreneurship Program sponsored by Nike to be an elite option for youth ages 11-19 to gain access to business ethics, business structure assistance, funding, and certifications in their dream field. We have complete confidence in Tiara as she has previously served for Legacy of Legends CDC since 2017, in addition to working in higher education at the University of Memphis for 3 years. She is trained and certified in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) & Stewards of Children.
The combination of her experience, culture, and drive makes her an ideal fit for our organization, Legacy of Legends CDC for the next stages of growth. Tiara Caswell’s decision-making skill is impressive. She is a good learner also and possess many leadership qualities.

Charlie is the Founder & Chairman of Legacy of Legends CDC, which is a program that partners with the 7Ps stakeholders in his community to help mitigate Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) and create Trauma Informed and Trauma Responsive Communities.
Charlie serve on Board of Director of Cherokee Health System, Rotary-Family Youth Initiative, iIMPACT Community Advisory Board with University of Memphis, and Building Strong Brains TN Advisory Board.
Charlie is the founder of the first Rotary Club in the Raleigh-Frayser communities called “Rotary Northwest Shelby County”.
Charlie is the father of six children – Autumn, Destiny, Charlie III, Xzavia, Tiara, and Kiara and the husband of Mrs. Teresa Landrum-Caswell.
